Ringstraße – Geschichte des Prachtboulevards (Kopie)

Once around the Ring – the grand boulevard of the Austrian capital

Many of Vienna's most important and magnificent buildings were constructed in the second half of the 19th century, when Vienna's Ringstrasse was built. Emperor Franz Joseph gave the impetus for its creation. We walk along the magnificent boulevard and see the Opera House, the City Hall, the Burgtheater, the Stock Exchange, the Ringturm and many palaces. You will get to know the most extraordinary sites of city life. We also answer many questions: Why was the Ringstrasse built in the first place? Who benefited from it and who lost out? Which buildings are located on the Ringstrasse and what is their history? Who were the people who built and lived in the buildings? ... and much more. A "basic course" for Vienna beginners and Vienna experts.
